2. Today, we will look at how to tell a good story, whether it be a suspense story or any other kind. This lesson will also be useful to you if you are preparing to describe a book or film for any test. Telling a story is an art, and phrasing your ideas in a certain way can make or break your attempt at describing a scene. So what makes a good story? Creating tension and suspense to intrigue your audience. In this lesson, the speaker will teach you vocabulary and phrases that will help you convey images, such as “cold sweat”, “from the shadows”, “out of the corner of the eye”, “unexpectedly”, “suddenly”, and more. We will also talk about a story’s genre, the main character, the plot, and how to give your opinion on it.
